Newtownards: So, there’s been a pretty shocking incident in Newtownards. A man and a woman have been charged with the murder of a 50-year-old guy named Mark Dorrian.
Mark was found unconscious with some serious head injuries at a place on West Street. Sadly, he passed away in the hospital after that. It all happened early on Boxing Day, which makes it even more tragic.
The couple, a 33-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man, are set to appear in court soon. They’ll be facing a district judge at Downpatrick Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
Interestingly, police mentioned that a 58-year-old woman who was also arrested in connection with this case has been released without any charges. It’s a tough situation for everyone involved.
