Man and Woman Arrested After 18-Year-Old Dies in Crash
A tragic car crash in West Yorkshire has led to the arrest of two individuals

Castleford: So, there was this awful car crash in West Yorkshire where an 18-year-old lost his life. A man and a woman, both 21, got arrested after the incident.
It all went down early Sunday morning. Police got a call around 6:19 AM about a car that had veered off Wheldon Road and ended up in a ditch. When emergency services arrived, they found a white Volkswagen Golf partly submerged in a water treatment facility.
The two people in the car were taken to the hospital for treatment. Sadly, they found another guy just a few yards away from the vehicle, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Turns out, he was the 18-year-old from the Wakefield area.
After looking into what happened, the police arrested the man and woman on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. Now, the major collision inquiry team is on the case and they’re asking anyone who saw the car before the crash to come forward.
