Man Allegedly Robs Home While Child Sleeps in Melbourne Suburb
A man was arrested for allegedly breaking into a home while a child slept inside, stealing a mobile phone during the incident

Port Melbourne: So, there was this wild incident where a guy broke into a home while a little girl was sleeping. Can you believe it? It happened late Sunday night.
Police got a call around 11:40 PM about a man sneaking into a house. Inside, a man and his child were fast asleep, totally unaware of what was going on.
The 27-year-old suspect apparently slipped in through an unlocked front door. He went straight for a mobile phone that was under the man’s pillow. How bold is that?
Luckily, the 13-year-old girl woke up and spotted the intruder. She did the right thing and called the cops right away.
Before long, the police showed up and caught the guy hiding in the back of the property. Thankfully, no one got hurt during the whole ordeal.
Now, this Redbank man is being questioned and is likely to face charges for aggravated burglary and theft. What a crazy night for that family!
