Apple Valley: So, there was this guy who got himself into a bit of trouble this week. Deputies arrested a man after he allegedly shoplifted from three different stores in just over an hour.
It all kicked off around 2:25 p.m. on Tuesday. Employees at Old Navy noticed a man stealing stuff and called the cops. The sheriff’s department got the heads up right away.
Then, just 16 minutes later, Ross reported that someone had left their store without paying. The description of the guy matched the one from Old Navy. Talk about a quick getaway!
Things didn’t stop there. At 3:35 p.m., Target also called in about a guy who matched the same description. Apparently, he had opened and drank some alcohol inside the store before making his exit through an emergency door.
After causing a ruckus at a couple of fast food joints nearby, deputies finally caught up with 36-year-old Oscar Aguirre. He was taken into custody, and it turns out he had a history of petty theft.
He’s now facing charges for petty theft, public intoxication, and disturbing the peace. His bail is set at $30,000 while he waits for court. It’s a tough spot to be in, especially with the new laws in California that make things a bit more serious for repeat offenders.
Just goes to show, sometimes a quick thrill can lead to a whole lot of trouble!
