Malik Nabers, Drew Lock shine in Giants’ 45-33 win over Colts

East Rutherford: The Giants pulled off an exciting win at MetLife Stadium, taking down the Colts 45-33 on Sunday. It was a game full of action and big plays.

Even though the Giants were holding the No. 1 overall pick, this win might change their draft plans. Luckily for them, the Raiders and Jaguars also won, so they’re still in decent shape. Right now, they sit at the No. 3 pick.

This victory was crucial for the Giants, as losing would have meant they’d be the first team to go 0-9 at home. That’s a record no one wants!

Malik Nabers was on fire! He had seven catches for 171 yards and two touchdowns. He scored on a 31-yard screen pass and then broke free for a 59-yard touchdown run, giving the Giants a nice lead.

What a season for the rookie from LSU! He’s already over 1,000 yards and 100 catches. Talk about making an impact!

Drew Lock also had a standout game. He threw for 309 yards and four touchdowns, showing great composure. In the final minutes, he even rushed for a touchdown to extend the lead.

But it wasn’t all smooth sailing for the Giants’ defense. The Colts moved the ball easily, racking up 446 yards. Joe Flacco had a solid day, throwing for 330 yards and two touchdowns. Luckily, Dru Phillips made a key interception late in the game to help seal the win.

In a wild moment, Ihmir Smith-Marsette returned the second-half kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown. The Colts kept fighting back, but the Giants held on.
