Dunfermline: A frantic search is happening for a 71-year-old woman named Norma Sinclair. She went missing overnight when temperatures dipped below zero.

Norma was last seen around 5:55 PM on Tuesday, January 7, on Victoria Terrace. Since then, there’s been no sign of her, which is really concerning.

The weather has been pretty harsh, dropping to -1C, and it’s not like her to just disappear without a word to her family. She was last spotted wearing a grey padded coat, leggings, and grey Ugg boots.

Chief Inspector Christopher Dow expressed growing concern for her safety. They’re checking CCTV footage and asking locals to look in their sheds and outbuildings, just in case she sought shelter.

If anyone has seen Norma or knows anything, they’re urged to contact Police Scotland at 101, referencing incident 2886 from January 7, 2025.
