Orlando: So, the Magic just can’t catch a break this season. Moritz Wagner, a solid player off the bench, has torn his ACL and is done for the year. This news comes from ESPN’s Sham Charania.

Things were already rough for Orlando. They’ve been missing star players Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner, both sidelined with oblique injuries. Banchero got hurt at the end of October, and Franz followed suit on December 7.

Moe’s injury happened during a game against the Miami Heat, where the Magic pulled off an incredible comeback from a 25-point deficit. Sadly, he only played a minute and a half before he had to leave the game.

At 27, Moe was really stepping up, averaging nearly 13 points and almost 5 rebounds per game. He was the second-highest scorer off the bench in the league, with 372 points this season.

With both Wagner brothers and Banchero out, the Magic would usually look to Jalen Suggs for some star power. But he missed the last game due to an ankle sprain he picked up last week, so that’s another hit.

Despite all this, Orlando is still holding its own with an 18-12 record, sitting fourth in the Eastern Conference. They even made it to the semifinals of the NBA Cup this month but lost to the Milwaukee Bucks, who went on to win the whole tournament.
