Melbourne: It was a wild night at the Bayside Carols in Dendy Park. Three teens, armed with machetes, caused quite a stir. Police had to step in after reports of a fight broke out.
Families were just trying to enjoy the Christmas spirit when things took a turn. Brighton MP James Newbury shared that people watched in shock as gangs clashed with police.
As the chaos unfolded, the teens took off down Glencairn Ave, tossing their machetes over fences to escape. Thankfully, no one got hurt during the whole ordeal.
In the end, a 15-year-old and two 16-year-olds were arrested. They face multiple charges, including assault and possession of a weapon. They’ve been bailed and will head to court soon.
