City: Bristol. So, this morning on the M5, things got pretty messy. A crash involving four vehicles and a vehicle fire caused a major headache for drivers. It blocked the motorway for about an hour, and even though it’s reopened now, two lanes are still closed.
Traffic is crawling, with backups stretching from Cribbs Causeway all the way to Tickenham. That’s a solid 70-minute delay, according to traffic reports. Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported, but it’s still a frustrating situation for everyone stuck in that jam.
Firefighters were quick to put out the small fire, but the aftermath is still causing chaos. If you’re heading that way, it might be a good idea to find an alternative route or just be prepared for a long wait.
