M5 Homes Map Reveals Layout for New Development of 304 Houses
A new development in Tewkesbury will feature 304 homes, including affordable options, play areas, and eco-friendly amenities.

Tewkesbury: The builder for Fiddington Fields is ready to start a new phase. Persimmon Homes Severn Valley will build 304 homes in Ashchurch, near the M5. This includes 105 homes for a local housing association to help with waiting lists.
These new homes will have solar panels and electric vehicle charging points. There will also be five play areas, a main road for the development, and separate paths for pedestrians and cyclists.
To protect local wildlife, the plan includes keeping trees and hedgerows. An ecological corridor will be created, with bird and bat boxes added to support local biodiversity.
The developer will contribute over £700,000 for local libraries and bus services. They will also invest more than £3.4 million in early years and primary education.
Three and four-bedroom homes are already available from £299,000. The second phase is being developed by Charles Church, with four-bedroom homes starting at £460,000.
Claire Burton, managing director of Persimmon Homes Severn Valley, expressed excitement about the project. She noted that the development will provide much-needed homes and support local services.
Burton also highlighted the benefits of the project, including biodiversity improvements and play areas. She thanked Tewkesbury Borough Council for their support in the planning process.
