M42 Tragedy: Pedestrian Killed in Crash on Motorway
A tragic incident on the M42 in Solihull has resulted in the death of a pedestrian

Solihull: A pedestrian lost his life after being hit by a car on the M42. It happened late last night, and the emergency services were quick to respond.
West Midlands Ambulance Service got a call from the police about a serious crash on the southbound side of the motorway. They arrived at the scene to find the pedestrian in critical condition.
Despite the efforts of the ambulance crew and a trauma team, the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. It’s just heartbreaking.
The motorway had to be closed in both directions for investigations, but it has since reopened. It’s a tough reminder of how quickly things can change.
A spokesperson from the ambulance service shared that when they got there, other emergency responders were already giving basic life support. They did everything they could, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough.
