Santa Clara: So, it looks like Deebo Samuel isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. John Lynch, the 49ers’ general manager, made it pretty clear that Deebo will be sticking around for the 2025 NFL season.

Lynch said, “Deebo is under contract. He’s a good player and he’s done a ton for this organization.” Sounds like they really value him and aren’t planning to let him go.

Right now, Deebo is heading into the last year of his contract, which is worth about $16 million. He signed a three-year extension back in 2022 after having an amazing All-Pro season.

Now, he’s turning 29 soon, but last season wasn’t his best. He averaged just 44.7 yards receiving per game, which is a career low. He caught 51 passes for 670 yards and scored three touchdowns.

He was the third-best pass catcher on the team last season, trailing behind George Kittle and Jauan Jennings, who really stepped up with a breakout year.

So, it looks like 49ers fans can breathe easy knowing Deebo will be around for at least another season!
