His management shared the news on social media, calling him a “beacon of light.” This comes just months after he nearly lost his life due to vaping.
Back in June, Paul talked about how he collapsed at home and ended up in intensive care. He had pneumonia and was really lucky to pull through.
His team released a heartfelt statement, expressing their sorrow over his untimely death. They asked for privacy for his family and friends during this tough time.
DJ Fat Tony paid tribute to Paul, saying he was one of the sweetest guys he knew. He shared his grief on Instagram, calling it a “sad day.”
Paul appeared on Celebrity Love Island in 2005 and 2006 but didn’t win. He also joined Celebrity Big Brother in 2017, hoping for a career comeback.
He often expressed a desire to return to Hollyoaks and even started a podcast called The Morning After With Paul Danan, which ran until 2023.

Doctors warned him that his vaping habit, after years of smoking, was dangerous. They told him he could end up needing an oxygen tank if he didn’t quit.
Paul had stopped smoking in 2021 but later became obsessed with vaping, even taking it to bed with him. He had a son named Deniro and had openly discussed his struggles with drugs since he was 19.
