London: So, there was this funny moment on Lorraine Kelly’s show. She had to step in when Paul Whitehouse and his wife, Mine, started bickering live on air. They were there to chat about their new podcast, but things got a bit awkward.
It all kicked off when Mine tried to nudge Paul to share their big announcement. But he totally missed the hint, and you could see her getting frustrated. It was like watching a couple argue over who forgot to take out the trash!
Mine was like, “You told me I wasn’t allowed to say anything,” trying to get Paul to spill the beans about their upcoming tour. But he just kept going on about how proud he was of her MBE for her work in education. Classic Paul, right?
Then, in the middle of their back-and-forth, Mine accidentally let slip, “The tour,” just as Lorraine jumped in, all excited, asking if it was their first tour together. Lorraine was trying to keep the peace, bless her!
Eventually, Mine confirmed they hadn’t toured together before but were really looking forward to it. Earlier, Lorraine had also asked Paul about his show Gone Fishing with Bob Mortimer, which he described as more than just fishing. It’s all about friendship and supporting each other through tough times.
Paul came up with the idea for Gone Fishing back in 2015 to help Bob recover from some serious health issues. Bob’s been through a lot, including major heart surgery and a tough battle with shingles. Paul’s been a real rock for him.
Bob even shared how Paul helped him during those hard times, saying he was there for him when he could barely walk. It’s heartwarming to see such strong friendships, especially in the world of entertainment.
