Newport: Courtney Deighton, 19, got a 12-month conditional discharge. She also has to pay £111 after pleading guilty to having a fighting dog named Lola.

Craig Feltham, 24, from Newport, was fined £385 for assaulting someone last May. He admitted to causing actual bodily harm.

Michael Wolfe, 44, also from Newport, was fined £146 for speeding. He drove 30 mph in a 20 mph zone last March and got three penalty points.

Joseph Phillips, 23, from Blackwood, lost his driving license for a year. He pleaded guilty to drug driving with cannabis in his system last April.

He has to pay £1,140 in fines and costs. Jonathan Enos, 43, from Newport, was fined £626 for a public order offense last July.

Paul Kelly, 33, from Bettws, Newport, admitted to having a tyre iron in public. He was fined £365 for possessing an offensive weapon last October.

Karl Healy, 44, from Bettws, Newport, was banned from driving for 22 months. He was found guilty of drink driving last November and fined £180.

Lewis Zerniak, 32, from Lydney, Gloucestershire, received a 12-month community order. He caused serious injury while driving carelessly in Chepstow last April.

He must complete 20 days of rehabilitation and pay a £120 fine, £114 surcharge, and £85 in costs.
