London: So, if you’re planning to use the Tube this weekend, heads up! Some stations will be closed or partially closed for essential work. It’s that time again when TfL needs to do some maintenance.
To help you out, we’ve got a breakdown of all the closures on the London Underground, Overground, and Elizabeth Line. This way, you won’t get caught off guard and can plan your journey better.
If you want the latest updates on the Tube, just check out the TfL app or their website. They keep it pretty current.
Now, let’s get into the specifics for Friday, January 17. The Piccadilly line won’t be running between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge. They’re fixing some damage from leaf fall, so you’ll need to hop on the Metropolitan line instead.
Moving on to Saturday, January 18, the Jubilee line will have no service between Finchley Road and Stratford from 1 AM to 4:15 AM. Then, from 4:15 AM on Saturday and all day Sunday, there’s no service between Green Park and Stratford. And yes, the Piccadilly line will still be out between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge.
On Sunday, January 19, the Elizabeth Line will be down until 11:30 AM between Maidenhead and Reading, but there’s a replacement bus service running. The Jubilee line will also have no service between Green Park and Stratford, with a bus service in place for that route.
Lastly, keep in mind that the Waterloo and City line only runs Monday to Friday, so don’t expect it to be available this weekend. Just plan ahead, and you should be good to go!
