London Tube closures January 10-12: Full TfL closure list

London: So, if you’re planning to use the Tube this weekend, heads up! From January 10 to 12, there are quite a few closures happening. TfL is doing some essential work, and it might affect your travel plans.

They’ve put together a list of all the closures on the Underground, Overground, and Elizabeth Line. It’s a good idea to check it out so you don’t get caught off guard.

Friday, January 10:

On Friday, the Mildmay Line will have some changes. The 2159 train from Stratford to Richmond will stop at Camden Road, and the 2317 train from Richmond to Willesden Junction won’t run at all.

Also, on the Piccadilly Line, there won’t be any service between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge. They’re fixing some damage caused by leaf fall, so you might want to take the Metropolitan line instead.

Saturday, January 11:

Saturday looks similar for the Piccadilly Line, with no service between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge again. And remember, the Waterloo and City line only runs Monday to Friday, so it’s off this weekend.

There will also be no service on the Windrush line between Highbury & Islington and New Cross Gate, New Cross, Clapham Junction, or Battersea Park.

Sunday, January 12:

On Sunday, the District Line will not operate between Turnham Green and Richmond. Plus, the Elizabeth Line will have a reduced service starting from 0740, with some stations closed.

So, if you’re heading to Heathrow or Maidenhead, keep in mind that only two trains per hour will be running to those spots. And from 0040 to 0740, there won’t be any service between Paddington and Ealing Broadway.

Just a heads up, the Mildmay Line will also have no service between Richmond and Willesden Junction on Sunday.
