London: Exciting news for NFL fans! The city will host home games for the New York Jets, Cleveland Browns, and Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2025 season. How cool is that?
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will be the venue for the Jets and Browns, while the Jaguars will make their way to Wembley Stadium. This marks the Jaguars’ 14th trip to London, part of their ongoing commitment to the UK.
Henry Hodgson, the NFL UK & Ireland general manager, expressed enthusiasm about welcoming these teams. He mentioned that this season will push the total number of regular season games in London past 40, highlighting the UK’s role in promoting the sport globally.
Hodgson also noted that these London games help engage fans year-round. With 15 million fans in the UK, the NFL aims to reach new communities and boost participation in flag football, which has already attracted over 100,000 young players.
The Jets will be playing at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the third time in five seasons. Jets president Hymie Elhai shared that this is a fantastic chance to grow their brand and fan base in the UK, which they’ve been nurturing for a while now.
Elhai pointed out that the success of the NFL’s international games shows how the sport is gaining popularity worldwide. Jaguars owner Shad Khan added that these games reflect their grassroots efforts, with their JagTag flag football program reaching over 100,000 young people in 2024.
Details about opponents, dates, and kick-off times will be revealed when the full 2025 schedule comes out in the spring. Plus, the NFL is also planning regular season matches in Madrid and Berlin, with more international games to be announced soon.
