London: So, there’s been a bit of a mess with the trains today. It all kicked off around 5:40 AM between Blackfriars and St Pancras. Not the best way to start the day, right?

Thameslink services are really feeling the heat. Many trains to and from St Pancras International and West Hampstead are either cancelled or running late by about 10 minutes.

National Rail jumped on X, you know, the one we used to call Twitter, to say they thought the chaos would be sorted by 9 AM. But surprise, surprise, it’s now expected to last all day.

Here’s the scoop on what’s changed: there’s a reduced service between Three Bridges and Bedford. Plus, peak services from East Grinstead to Bedford and Orpington to Luton are totally off the table.

Also, trains that usually go from Sevenoaks to Welwyn Garden City will only run to Blackfriars. And if you’re trying to get from Rainham to Luton, you’ll only make it to Dartford.

Lastly, if you’re on the Horsham to Peterborough route, good news! They’ll be stopping at Salfords and Earlswood in both directions now.
