Llandudno: A group of youths caused serious trouble recently. They smashed windows, started a fire at the hospital, and even stole from hotels. Local politicians are really concerned about this behavior.

An emergency meeting was held to address the situation. Janet Finch-Saunders, a local MS, said kids as young as 11 are out late, causing mayhem. She mentioned that 17 windows were kicked in at the promenade shelters.

They also vandalized the Venue Cymru theatre, breaking a TV and spraying graffiti. This damage is costing the community a lot of money—around £16,000. It’s frustrating for everyone involved.

Janet invited police and social services to discuss the issue. She emphasized that this behavior is not good for the town or its visitors. Some kids involved are as young as seven or eight, which is alarming.

Cllr Nigel Smith urged the public to report any vandalism they see. He expressed disappointment over the recent damage to the promenade. New shelters were built for everyone to enjoy, but most have already been vandalized.

Repairing the damage will take away funds that could be used for better things. CCTV footage is available, and all incidents have been reported to the police. If anyone has information, they should contact the police.
