Last year, Newcastle’s owners had assets nearing $1 trillion, so they’re still in the lead. But Musk’s wealth shot up recently, especially after the U.S. elections.

His net worth jumped by about $70 billion, thanks to a big rise in Tesla’s stock price. Investors are feeling optimistic about the company under a new regulatory environment.

Interestingly, Musk’s dad, Errol, mentioned on the radio that Elon has shown interest in Liverpool. He joked about not wanting to raise the price but hinted that it’s something Elon would like.

Errol shared that their family has ties to Liverpool, with relatives there and even connections to the Beatles. It’s a sentimental thing for them.

Funny enough, Musk once said he wouldn’t buy a sports team, but he did mention Manchester United as a potential target back in 2022. Who knows what he’ll do next?
