Liverpool: So, it looks like Liverpool is really trying to keep Mohamed Salah around. They’ve been chatting about a new contract, but nothing’s set in stone yet. Reports say that Salah, along with Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold, has received offers, but the club is also looking at other options just in case.

Salah’s been on fire lately, and honestly, replacing him won’t be easy. He’s been racking up goals and assists like it’s nothing. The club knows they’ll have to think about a replacement eventually, but for now, they’re keeping tabs on a couple of Premier League players.

One name that’s popped up is Bryan Mbuemo from Brentford. He’s been compared to Salah in terms of style, and there’s a feeling he could shine even more in a stronger team. But at 25, he might only be a target if Liverpool needs to make a move soon.

After Salah mentioned that a new deal is still “far away,” it’s clear Liverpool is preparing for all scenarios. Brentford won’t let Mbuemo go for cheap, and finding someone who can match Salah’s talent won’t be easy without spending big bucks.

Then there’s Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth, who’s also caught Liverpool’s eye. He’s newer to the Premier League but has been doing well, scoring five goals and getting two assists this season.

Neither Mbuemo nor Semenyo would have an easy time stepping into Salah’s shoes, but if a new contract doesn’t happen, they could be interesting options. The main goal for Liverpool is still to get Salah to sign, but they’re clearly thinking ahead.

It’s kind of like when Liverpool took a chance on Salah in the first place. They’ll need to be smart about this when the time comes to find a replacement.
