Liverpool: So, Darwin Nunez had another tough game against Manchester United. He came on as a sub and tried hard, but all he got was a yellow card. It’s starting to feel like Liverpool might need to consider moving on from him.

There’s been talk that AC Milan might be interested in him, but as of now, there’s been no official word. If an offer does come in, Liverpool’s coach, Arne Slot, might want to think about taking it. Watching Delap play, you can see he’s got the strength, movement, and instinct that scream quality. If Ipswich goes down, it’s hard to imagine he’ll stick around. He’s already proven he can dominate in the Championship.
At just 21, he’s got plenty of room to grow. He’d make an impact at Liverpool right now, but his best years might still be ahead of him. That said, he won’t come cheap. He was valued at around $25 million in the summer, and his price has likely doubled since then.
Man City might also be interested, given they have buyback clauses in his deal. But even if he wouldn’t start over Haaland, he could definitely compete for the number nine spot at Anfield.
If Liverpool is looking for a replacement for Nunez, they should pitch Delap. It might seem risky, but I believe he’s ready for the big leagues, and Liverpool could be the perfect place for him.
