New York City: It’s starting to feel a lot like Christmas! On Tuesday morning, the city woke up to a lovely dusting of snow, making everything look magical.

This winter wonderland is nice, but it won’t mess up travel too much. Still, drivers should be careful out there.

According to Accuweather, we’re looking at less than an inch of snow, but it could make the roads a bit slippery.

The snow should stop by late morning, and then we can enjoy a milder holiday with temps in the mid to upper 30s, as per the National Weather Service.

CBS News mentioned that the impact on travelers will be minimal, but they’re reminding everyone to watch out for slick spots on the roads.

Snow showers are expected to wrap up by 10 a.m., with CBS saying it should be gone by 11. Most areas will see just about an inch, but some counties might get a bit more.

Footage from local DOT cams showed the roads looking quite wintry in West Nyack early Tuesday. The snowfall was coming down nicely, but the NWS warned against sledding since it won’t last long.

Later on Christmas Eve, the skies should clear up, but it’ll be chilly with light winds and temps in the mid-20s to 30s.

As for Christmas Day, expect a sunny one in the city and surrounding areas, with temperatures in the low to mid-30s, dropping to the mid-20s at night.
