Pembroke Dock: So, Lidl is on the hunt for a new spot to move its store in Pembroke Dock. They already have a supermarket there, but they want to switch things up.
They’re also working on opening a new store in Tenby, but we don’t have a timeline for that yet. It’s all part of their big plan to expand with over 1,100 stores across the UK.
Right now, there are three Lidl stores in Pembrokeshire: Pembroke Dock, Haverfordwest, and Milford Haven. Plus, they’ve got 46 stores in south and mid Wales, including Cardiff and Swansea.
Lidl is looking for places that are easy to get to, have good foot traffic, and a decent flow of cars. They want their new stores to be around 18,000 to 26,500 square feet with plenty of parking.
They’re aiming for about 1.5 acres for standalone stores and four acres for mixed-use developments. If you know of any good spots, they’ve got a finder’s fee structure that could be worth checking out.
