Los Angeles: The Lakers had a solid night at Crypto.com Arena, taking down the Portland Trail Blazers 114-106. With Anthony Davis out due to an ankle issue, the team needed some serious firepower.
LeBron James and Max Christie really stepped up. James dropped 38 points, hitting seven threes, while Christie scored a career-high 28. They were on fire!
Even without Davis, the Lakers managed to build a 15-point lead. Their defense tightened up in the second and third quarters, which helped a lot.
But it wasn’t all smooth sailing. The Blazers put up a fight, especially with Anfernee Simons leading their charge with 23 points. The Lakers had to dig deep to secure the win.
