Merseyside: This week has been quite eventful in the local courts. A mix of characters, from a laughing drug dealer to a former cage fighter, found themselves behind bars.

One of the more shocking cases involved a taxi driver who had a secret online identity. He was caught posting some pretty disturbing stuff online after a tragic incident involving young kids. He got seven and a half years for that.

Then there’s Anthony Campbell, a Mercedes driver who caused a serious crash after a funeral. He ran a red light and injured three people, leaving one with a brain bleed. He got over three years for his reckless driving.

Paul Smith, a dad, got caught in an online sting after sending inappropriate messages to someone he thought was a 13-year-old girl. He’s now facing 20 months in prison.

Ryan Finlay, the drug dealer, was laughing as he learned his fate. He was involved in a cocaine operation and got 45 months behind bars.

And let’s not forget Paul “Boom Boom” Cahoon, a former cage fighter who spent years on the run. He was finally caught and sentenced to over nine years for his role in drug trafficking.

Lee Blowes had a wild night out that ended with him attacking a security guard. He’s now serving two years for that incident.

Lastly, Joel Cantrell stabbed a teenager during a silly argument over a vape. He’s been sentenced to nearly three years in a young offenders’ institute.

It’s a tough week for these guys, and it’s a reminder of the serious consequences of their actions.
