Warrington’s Latest Crime Statistics for November 2024 Released
New crime data shows a decline in reported incidents across Warrington
Warrington, UK, Crime Statistics, November 2024, Police Data
Warrington: The Home Office just dropped the latest crime stats for November 2024, and it’s looking pretty interesting. This is the most recent data we have, so let’s dive in.
Good news! The town has seen a drop in reported crimes for three months straight. The monthly breakdown even shows how many incidents happened on each street.
According to police.uk, there were 843 crimes reported in November. That’s a significant drop from 1,024 in October and 1,295 in November 2023.
But keep in mind, these numbers might not tell the whole story. Some crimes might not have been reported, and others could have been logged more than once.
When we look at the streets with the most reported crimes, Regent Street topped the list with 8 incidents. Naylor Street and a few others followed closely behind.
In public areas, shopping spots saw the most action with 46 reported crimes, while parking areas and supermarkets weren’t far behind.
Now, while some crime categories went up, others went down. Violent and sexual offences were still the most common, but they dropped from 435 in October to 313 in November.
Anti-social behaviour also fell, but we did see increases in burglary and vehicle crime. It’s a mixed bag, really.
As for what happens next, 86 cases are still under investigation, while 80 are waiting for court action. Unfortunately, 569 cases didn’t lead to any prosecution.
All this info comes straight from police.uk and is accurate as of now. So, there you have it—Warrington’s crime scene is definitely changing!
