Bexley: Joe Lerwill, 37, from Streatham Hill, got into trouble for driving while disqualified and not providing a specimen. This happened on October 7 and again on November 11. He’s now facing 25 weeks in prison.

In Lewisham, Claude Spencer, 51, who didn’t have a fixed address, broke into a car and stole a suitcase on January 8. He received a 10-week suspended sentence and has to pay £300 in compensation.

Also in Lewisham, Ricardo Rodrigues, 22, was caught with a knife and some cannabis on October 31. He got a four-month suspended sentence, which means he won’t go to jail if he stays out of trouble for a year.

Over in Orpington, Gary North, 59, admitted to damaging a Ring doorbell back in June. His sentencing is still pending, so we’ll have to wait and see what happens there.

Lastly, Shane Bignall, 39, from Mitcham, was involved in 12 thefts from Bp Express in Orpington. He received a deferred sentence, meaning he has to stay out of trouble and show progress in drug rehab to avoid jail time.
