Montreal: So, guess what? A winter storm is rolling in, and it’s bringing a whole lot of snow to southern Quebec. This Alberta clipper is sliding in from the west, and it’s got plenty of moisture to work with.
By Tuesday morning, any worries about a green Christmas will be gone. The snow will start falling late Monday afternoon along the Ontario-Quebec border, and it’s going to keep coming down.
Heads up, though! There’s a winter travel advisory in place. The snow could make driving tricky, so if you’re hitting the road Monday night, be careful out there.
In the Greater Montreal Area, the snow will really kick in by Monday evening and stick around overnight. Expect about 10-15 cm in Montreal, while Quebec City might see around 5 cm.
But don’t worry, it’s all good news for Christmas! The clipper is set to bring a nice blanket of snow just in time for the holidays. Gatineau, Montreal, and Quebec City are all in for a white Christmas!
As the storm moves east into the Maritimes, we might still see some snow hanging around in the Eastern Townships on Tuesday evening. But after that, a high-pressure system will roll in, giving us some nice weather for Christmas Day.
