Yoxall: So, the Crown Inn in Staffordshire has closed its doors for good. It’s a real bummer, especially since they just put up a ‘To Let’ sign a few weeks back.

The owners decided to shut down after facing some tough times. They mentioned health problems, rising costs, and fewer customers as the main reasons.

In a heartfelt message on social media, they shared how hard they tried to keep the pub going. They poured in time and money, but it just wasn’t enough.

They said it was a sad choice for them, especially since they made some great friends in the community. They thanked everyone for their support and mentioned they might have up to six months to find a new tenant.

It’s a tough situation, but they hope whoever takes over will find a welcoming community and continue the pub’s long history.
