San Francisco: So, Anthony Davis had a bit of a rough night on Christmas. He rolled his ankle pretty badly while going for a rebound during the game against the Warriors. It was a tough break for him and the Lakers.
He didn’t even bump into anyone; he just stepped wrong and went down hard. You could see he was in a lot of pain, and it was tough to watch. He tried to shake it off and keep playing, but it was clear he was limping.
Eventually, he had to walk off the court and head straight to the locker room. The Lakers were hopeful he might come back, but they ruled him out later in the game. He ended up with no points and just two rebounds, which is a bummer considering he usually scores a lot more.
After the game, he told ESPN he thinks he’ll be fine and plans to play against Sacramento on Saturday. Fingers crossed he’s right! Despite losing Davis, the Lakers managed to pull off a close win, thanks to LeBron James, who had an impressive game.
LeBron made history by scoring over 500 points in his 19th Christmas game, finishing with 31 points, 10 assists, and more. It was a wild game, but let’s hope Davis is back on the court soon!
