Los Angeles: So, the Lakers are in a bit of a pickle. Coach JJ Redick is scratching his head about when LeBron James will be back on the court. He missed another game, and it’s starting to raise some eyebrows.
LeBron, who’s a big deal in the NBA, sat out the game against the Portland Trail Blazers because of a sore foot. He also missed a previous game against the Timberwolves for personal reasons. It’s not like he’s just taking a break; there’s a lot going on.
When Redick was asked about LeBron’s return, he simply said, “No.” That’s not exactly reassuring for fans. The Lakers just lost to the Timberwolves, making it eight losses in their last eleven games. Ouch!
Anthony Davis did his best with 23 points and 11 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough. The team is set to face the Memphis Grizzlies next, so they’ll need to step it up.
Meanwhile, in other NBA news, Joel Embiid had to leave the game for the 76ers after getting hit in the face. He’s had a rough start to the season, and this injury isn’t helping. Coach Nick Nurse said they’re checking him out, so fingers crossed he’s okay.
