Maharashtra: So, here’s the scoop. Sanjay Raut, a leader from Shiv Sena UBT, is throwing some serious shade at the Mahayuti government. He’s saying they’ve dropped the ball on the Ladki Bahini Yojana scheme.

This scheme was a big deal during the elections, right? It was one of those promises that helped the BJP-led alliance keep their grip on power. But now, Raut claims it’s all gone quiet.

He told reporters that the government is struggling to hand out the promised 1,500 rupees to women. He even called the 2,100 rupees they promised a “fake election promise.” Sounds like he thinks they just bought votes with that cash.

Raut believes they’ll only bring it back when the next elections roll around. The scheme was supposed to give women in the state 2,100 rupees a month, but it seems like reality hit hard after they took office.

Devendra Fadnavis, the Chief Minister, took a look at the state’s finances and realized they might not be able to keep that promise right now. They’re even thinking about changing the scheme to make it work.

On top of that, Raut mentioned some chatter about the INDIA Alliance. He feels it’s crucial for the Congress party, being the biggest player in the alliance, to keep things moving and relevant. But he’s worried that no meetings have happened since the Lok Sabha elections, which isn’t a good sign.

With all these sentiments floating around, it seems like the pressure is on for the alliance to step up and figure things out.
