San Francisco: So, it looks like the Warriors are going to be without Jonathan Kuminga for a bit. He sprained his ankle pretty badly during the game against the Grizzlies.
After the game, Coach Kerr mentioned it’s not just a minor thing. He said it was a significant sprain and they’ll have more info after the MRI tomorrow. Not great news, right?
Kuminga got hurt while trying to block a shot. He landed awkwardly on another player’s foot and had to limp off the court. He was actually having a solid game, scoring 13 points in just 15 minutes.
This injury is a real bummer for him, especially since he was on a roll lately, averaging over 24 points in his last few games. The Warriors will need to step up their game without him.
Next up, they’re facing the Kings, so it’ll be interesting to see how they adjust without Kuminga in the lineup. Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery!
