Croydon: So, guess what? Krept and Konan, the famous rappers from South London, are opening a new supermarket called Saveways! It’s happening next week at 102 Beddington Lane. How cool is that?

This place is all about world foods, aiming to cater to the needs of black, Asian, and ethnic communities. They really want to bring everything together under one roof.

The duo shared that they want Saveways to be more than just a grocery store. They’re looking to provide a wide range of high-quality foods that everyone can enjoy, not just a select few.

They’re also making sure the store is clean and welcoming for everyone who visits. It’s great to see them giving back to their hometown of Croydon!

Saveways will have halal meat and poultry counters, fresh and frozen exotic fish, and even a bakery. Plus, you can expect fresh fruits, veggies, and a variety of international foods.

They’re really aiming to have everything you might need, including household essentials and beauty products. It’s like a one-stop shop!

Kaysor Ali, one of the co-founders, mentioned that they’re combining their skills to create a shopping experience that sets a new standard in the UK. Sounds ambitious, right?

And here’s the best part: the opening will create over 30 jobs! There’s also parking for more than 30 cars, and they’ll have self-serve scanners for a quick checkout.

For those who prefer online shopping, they’ll offer click-and-collect services and delivery through Uber Eats, Deliveroo, and Just Eat. Saveways is set to open on Saturday, February 1. Mark your calendars!
