New York: The Knicks kicked off their game against the Timberwolves with a bit of a slow start, trailing by a point at the end of the first quarter. But they quickly turned things around, taking the lead right away in the second quarter and never looking back. They ended up winning 133-107, and it was a big night for Karl-Anthony Towns and Mikal Bridges.

Towns really showed up, scoring 32 points and grabbing 20 rebounds. He was on fire, hitting 10 of his 12 shots and nailing all five of his three-pointers. It was impressive, especially since Jalen Brunson had a quieter night with only 14 points.

Bridges also had a fantastic game, putting up 29 points on 12-of-18 shooting. He was just a point shy of his season-high, proving to be a great sidekick to Towns. With Josh Hart out for personal reasons, Precious Achiuwa stepped in and did well, scoring 13 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.

Even though Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo, who were traded to Minnesota, combined for 39 points, it didn’t matter much as the Knicks pulled away. They had a massive 20-0 run in the second quarter, which really sealed the deal.

Looking ahead, the Knicks are set to face the Pelicans next, wrapping up their three-game road trip. It’s been a solid stretch for them, and fans are excited to see how they’ll continue to perform.
