Dallas: Klay Thompson just made history! He’s now fifth on the NBA’s all-time 3-point list. Can you believe it? He hit his 2,561st three-pointer during the Christmas Day game against the Timberwolves.

Thompson tied Reggie Miller’s record early in the game and then took the lead in the fourth quarter. It’s a big deal, especially for a guy who grew up watching Miller play.

After the game, Klay was pretty emotional. He said it felt like a dream come true. He’s put in so much work over the years, and passing an icon like Reggie is surreal for him.

In the game, Klay scored 12 points, but the Mavericks lost to the Timberwolves, despite Kyrie Irving’s impressive 39 points. Tough break for Dallas!

Mavericks coach Jason Kidd acknowledged Klay’s achievement, saying it’s a huge milestone. He knows Klay would have preferred a win, but this is still a moment to celebrate.

Even though Klay is no longer with the Warriors, fans still cheer him on. It’s great to see him succeed and reach new heights in his career.
