George Kittle, San Francisco, 49ers, NFL, Contract Extension

San Francisco: George Kittle is all about staying with the 49ers. He just wrapped up his eighth season and made it clear he wants to be a Niner for life. When reporters asked about his future, he said he’s open to a contract extension.

Kittle loves the Red and Gold. He mentioned, “I want to be a Niner for my entire career.” It’s pretty clear he’s committed to the team. The 49ers picked him in the 2017 NFL Draft, and he’s been a standout ever since.

In his career, Kittle has made quite an impact. He’s racked up over 7,300 yards and 45 touchdowns. Even though the 49ers had a rough season with a 6-11 record, Kittle still shined with 78 catches and over 1,100 yards.

This season was tough for him, though. With other key players like Brandon Aiyuk and Christian McCaffrey sidelined, Kittle faced more defensive pressure. But he still managed to perform well.

Kittle signed a big contract back in 2020, and now he’s entering the final year of that deal. Fans love him, and he’s made the Pro Bowl five times. He’s also been pretty reliable, only missing a handful of games in his career.

Will he get that contract extension? It’s still up in the air, but Kittle is ready to talk. He’s done his part and is eager to keep playing for the 49ers.
