Fleetwood: Kiena Dawes’s ex-fiance, Ryan Wellings, has proposed to his new girlfriend from prison. This comes after Kiena tragically took her own life in July 2022, leaving behind their baby daughter.
Wellings, 30, was sentenced to six-and-a-half years for assault and coercive control. He was cleared of manslaughter. During the trial, he was described as an aggressive bully.
Emma Croft, 28, received a proposal from Wellings in a letter. Friends say she is devoted to him, despite the negative attention. She has stepped down from her beauty salon job due to the backlash.
Wellings’s past includes severe abuse towards Kiena, who reported him to the police multiple times. Sadly, she left a note saying, “Ryan Wellings killed me” before her death.
After the trial, Emma expressed her commitment to Wellings, stating she would wait for his release. This has caused concern among her friends and the community.
