Marulan: A serious crash has left several kids hurt in southeastern New South Wales. It was a chaotic scene on the Hume Highway on Tuesday afternoon when a minibus rolled over.

At least three children were rushed to the hospital, and they even had to land three helicopters on the highway to help. Traffic was completely stopped.

The rollover happened around noon, right between Winfarthing Road and Munro Road. The minibus flipped on a bend, and it looked pretty bad.

Emergency services had to cut open the damaged vehicle, and debris was scattered everywhere. The driver, a man in his 50s, and seven passengers were stuck inside.

He only had minor injuries but was taken to the hospital for some routine testing. A woman in her 30s was treated right there at the scene.

Three kids were taken to a hospital about 150 kilometers away in Sydney. Police are looking into what caused the crash and are asking anyone with video to reach out.

By 5:30 PM, the scene was cleared, but Traffic NSW is still warning about congestion in the area.
