San Francisco: So, guess what? The Warriors are getting a boost with Dennis Schröder joining the squad. Coach Steve Kerr just spilled the beans on when he’ll make his debut.
Schröder is set to arrive in the Bay Area on Monday for a physical and will practice with the team on Tuesday and Wednesday. Then, he’ll hit the court for his first game against the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday. Exciting stuff!
Kerr is pretty pumped about this. He joked about how Schröder has given him a hard time on three different continents. Now, he’s ready to team up with him instead of facing him.
Before the trade, Schröder was doing great with the Nets, averaging 18.4 points and 6.6 assists. The Warriors traded away De’Anthony Melton, who got hurt, and a few draft picks to snag him.
Kerr thinks Schröder is just what the team needs. He’s a solid player who can step in and fill the gap left by Melton. Plus, he’s known for being a fierce competitor and a great defender.
It’ll be interesting to see how he fits in with the team during practice this week. Fans are eager to see what he brings to the court on Thursday!
