Two teenagers have been charged with the murder of Kelyan Bokassa in Woolwich, following a tragic incident on January 7

Woolwich: Kelyan Bokassa was found hurt on a 472 bus in Woolwich Church Street just before 2:30 PM on January 7. It was a shocking scene.
Emergency services rushed to help, but sadly, the 14-year-old was pronounced dead shortly after. It’s just heartbreaking.
Fast forward to January 16, and two boys, aged 15 and 16 from Plumstead, have been charged with Kelyan’s murder. They’re now in custody.
They’re set to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court later today. It’s a tough situation for everyone involved.
David Malone from the Crown Prosecution Service mentioned that they’ve authorized the charges after this tragic event. It’s a serious matter.
The boys can’t be named yet due to legal reasons, but they’ll have their first hearing at Bromley Youth Court soon.
David also expressed condolences to Kelyan’s family and friends during this hard time. It’s important to remember them.
He reminded everyone that the legal process is ongoing and that it’s crucial to avoid any comments that could affect the case.
After a manhunt by the Met’s Specialist Crime Command, three arrests were made on January 15.
A 44-year-old woman was also arrested for helping an offender but has been released while the investigation continues.
