Dara is famous for his work on shows like Mock The Week and Live At The Apollo. Katherine is known for her sharp humor and has appeared on 8 Out of 10 Cats and QI.
Other comedians like Maisie Adam and Joel Dommett will also perform. Stephen Bailey will host the festival, making it a fun day for everyone.
This festival is part of the Live At York Museum Gardens series. Elbow will kick off the series on July 3, followed by Nile Rogers and Chic on July 4.
The Saturday headline act is still a mystery. Last summer, popular gigs by Shed Seven and Jack Savoretti drew large crowds to Museum Gardens.
Andy Smith from Futuresound Group is excited about the comedy festival. He believes it will add more variety to the entertainment lineup.
Richard Saward from York Museums Trust is also looking forward to the event. He thinks the comedy festival is a great addition to the program.
Presale tickets for York postcodes will be available on February 5 at 9 am. General tickets go on sale on February 7 at 10 am through the Futuresound website.
