Los Angeles: The Chargers just pulled ahead in a nail-biter against the Broncos. Thanks to some defensive penalties, they moved down the field and scored a sweet 19-yard touchdown pass from Justin Herbert to Derius Davis. Then, Joshua Palmer made a nifty play, tipping a pass to himself in the end zone for a two-point conversion, bringing the score to 27-24.
After forcing the Broncos to go three-and-out, the Chargers kept the momentum going. Herbert connected with Palmer for a 12-yard gain, and a horse collar tackle on Herbert helped push them into Denver’s territory.
Then, Ladd McConkey made a nice 17-yard catch, putting the Chargers right on the 19-yard line. On the next play, Herbert dodged a rush, moved to his left, and threw a perfect touch pass to Davis down the sideline for the score. What a game!
