Pittsburgh: So, Mike Tomlin, the Steelers’ head coach, mentioned that Justin Fields might play a role in the upcoming playoff game against the Ravens. Fields is all in and ready for whatever the coaches have planned.
He’s been saying he prepares like he’s going to play every game. Even though he’s only had a handful of snaps since Russell Wilson took over, he’s still pumped about the possibility of hitting the field in Baltimore.
Fields believes that just the idea of him being a threat can mess with the Ravens’ defense. He mentioned that it makes them spend time watching film on him, which is a win for the Steelers, whether he actually runs or not.
After finishing the regular season with four losses in a row, the Steelers could use any spark they can get. But it seems like they’re sticking with Wilson as their main guy, even if Fields could shake things up a bit.
