Deji Adeyemi, a talented 12-year-old from Theale, reached the Junior Bake Off final, showcasing his baking skills and passion.

Theale: A twelve-year-old from Theale made it to the Junior Bake Off final. Deji Adeyemi was one of four bakers competing for the title.
The finale aired on January 24. Deji’s ‘best ever birthday party cake’ unfortunately collapsed during the competition.
Despite this setback, Deji was the only Triple Star Baker of the season. His family was very proud of his achievement.
The show started with 16 contestants aged nine to twelve. It was hosted by Harry Hill, with judges Liam Charles and Ravneet Gill.
Deji was eager to join the show, as it was his last chance. He felt excited when he was selected, thinking it meant he was good at baking.
His time on Junior Bake Off was filled with excitement and nerves. Deji called the experience “life-changing” and a great chance to improve his skills.
He appreciated the judges’ feedback, which helped him learn not to overdo things in his baking.
One of his favorite moments was creating a biscuit mobile in episode 2, which impressed the judges.
Deji’s love for baking began at age five. He often experiments with new recipes at home, especially his signature red velvet cake.
His family enjoys friendly baking competitions, trying to make the best treats together.
Looking ahead, Deji dreams of becoming a professional baker. He plans to attend culinary college in France after his A-levels.
For now, he loves sharing his baked goods with family and friends. He believes baking brings joy and connections.
