Los Angeles: So, guess what? Julia Stiles, you know, the actress from 10 Things I Hate About You, is stepping behind the camera for her first feature film! It’s called Wish You Were Here, and it’s based on a novel by Renée Carlino. She’s got a fantastic cast lined up, including Isabelle Fuhrman from Orphan and Mena Massoud from Aladdin. Plus, we can’t forget Jennifer Grey and Kelsey Grammer!
The movie sounds pretty intriguing. It’s about a girl named Charlotte who has a magical night with a guy she just met, but things take a turn the next morning. She’s left trying to figure out what went wrong and discovers a secret that changes everything. Sounds like a real emotional rollercoaster!
In the trailer, we see Charlotte and Adam (played by Mena) hit it off, but then he pulls back, leaving her confused. It turns out he’s dealing with some serious stuff. Julia Stiles mentioned that she’s been wanting to direct for a while, and this story really spoke to her. She said it made her laugh and cry, which is the best kind of movie, right?
