Green Bay: So, Jordan Love is in a bit of a pickle right now. After hurting his elbow in the last game against the Bears, he was feeling pretty good about playing in the wild-card round. But then, things got a little shaky.
During practice on Wednesday, he was only a limited participant. When reporters asked him if he’d be ready for Sunday, he just said, “We’ll see.” Not exactly the confident answer fans were hoping for.
It’s a big change from his earlier response when he was all in, saying he felt good about playing. He got hurt in the first half of the last game and didn’t come back. Malik Willis took over as quarterback after that.
We still don’t know the full scoop on his injury. Love mentioned losing feeling in his throwing hand, and while he said that feeling came back, he’s still dealing with some soreness in his elbow.
Wednesday’s practice was open for the warmup, but when it was time for him to throw, the media wasn’t allowed to watch. So, we’re left guessing based on what Coach LaFleur said. He confirmed Love was limited but didn’t give much detail.
It’s a bit of a mystery. Is Love really hurt, or is LaFleur just playing mind games with the Eagles? Only the Packers know for sure.
If Love can’t go, Malik Willis will step in, but he’s also nursing a thumb injury. So, it’s a bit of a waiting game for Green Bay fans.
