Fahri was sentenced to life in prison, with a minimum of 14 years. He got out on license in June 2023, but it didn’t last long. He’s back in prison now for breaking the rules.
Recently, it came out that Fahri is trying to make a name for himself as a drill rapper called TEN. Some of his songs have even been played on the BBC, and they’re pretty violent.
A spokesperson from the Probation Service confirmed that he was recalled to prison. They expressed sympathy for Jimmy’s family, who shouldn’t have to see his murderer bragging about his past.
The lyrics from Fahri’s songs are shocking. He talks about violence and death in a way that’s really disturbing. Jimmy’s mom, Margaret, is understandably upset. She can’t believe he’s allowed to make this kind of music.
Barry, Jimmy’s dad, raised some serious questions about the prison system. He feels like all the programs Fahri went through didn’t help at all. It’s frustrating for the family.
The BBC said they have strict guidelines for music, and they don’t glamorize violence. They’ve played some of Fahri’s songs, but not the violent ones.
The whole thing started over a small argument at the bakery. Jimmy had just celebrated his birthday and was out with his brother. Things escalated quickly, and it ended in tragedy.
After the incident, Jimmy’s parents started The Mizen Foundation to honor their son’s memory and help young people. They’ve done amazing work and were even awarded MBEs for it.
